I was recently re-introduced to Intermedia, an IT survivor founded in 1995. While some people may be familiar with Intermedia’s hosted Exchange email business, Intermedia offers fully modernized UCaaS (unified communications as a service) and CCaaS (contact center as a service) solutions today. I believe that Intermedia’s unique transformation to become a solid UCaaS / CCaaS solution provider is worth profiling.
This week Juniper Networks announced that its Mist cloud and AI engine can be used to manage its SD-WAN solution. Juniper, historically a front-line wide-area network vendor, bolstered its router portfolio with the $450 million acquisition of 128 Technology (128T).

Cisco is bringing its Webex technology to the final frontier: space. Webex will be a part of the Callisto payload on the Orion spacecraft, which launches later this year on a mission called Artemis I.
Formerly known as Exploration Mission-1, this launch will be the first in a series of several complex missions focused on human exploration to the Moon and Mars.
